About Us
Jacquie grew up in Waterloo, Ontario and received her post-secondary education at the University of Waterloo.
She graduated on the Dean's List with an Honours Degree in Economics in 1987. In 1989 she began her career in financial planning in the Midland area, and opened Premier Financial Planning Services in 1992.
Since that time, Jacquie has received the Chartered Financial Planner (1993), Certified Financial Planner (1996) and Registered Financial Planner (2007) designations and completed the Canadian Securities Course (1998). Most recently, she completed the training and received certification as a Financial Divorce Specialist (2012).
She is a member and Board Member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners.
Jacquie believes strongly in supporting the community that supports her. She is currently a Board Member for Huronia Transition Homes – Rosewood Shelter. Jacquie is also on the Board of the Midland Curling Club. In the past, Jacquie spent 15 years volunteering with the North Simcoe Community Futures Development Corporation (previously the Business Development Centre) acting as a director, Chairperson for 2000 – 2001 and committee member. She is also a founding member of the Midland and District Business Women's Association. Jacquie has also been an active member of the Grants Committee for the Huronia Communities Foundation acting as chairperson for October 2005 to March 2007.
In addition to volunteering her time, Jacquie supports several community organizations. Premier Financial Planning Services has sponsored all 3 productions of the Vagina Monologues in support of the Rosewood Shelter as well as their LOL with HTH events featuring Elvira Kurt.
In 2010, Jacquie was honoured to be nominated for the "Business Woman of the Year" award.
Jacquie's recreational activities include reading, curling, golfing, boating, gardening and traveling. She and her husband Jim live in Penetanguishene with their dog, Maya.
